Meet WOSH Site Coordinator

Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. My name is Jariah Jones. I am excited to be the Communities in School (CIS) Site Coordinator for West Orange- Stark High School. I am also a WOS Class of 2011 alumni, and it feels great to be walking the halls that started it all.

As a Site Coordinator, my primary responsibility is to assist in improving students behavior, attendance, academics, and social/emotional well-being.

It is important that I work closely as a team with parents/guardians, teachers, administration, and staff to ensure students are receiving all the support they need to guide them through their years of being high school students. I will also assist students in need of school supplies or any personal hygiene items. These items will be in my office located in the Counselor Suite in room 119.

Throughout the year I will be meeting with students in the classroom, individually, and in groups. If you know of any students who can benefit from this program, please let me know and I will send a parent consent form either electronically or give out a hardcopy.

Once again, thank you for welcoming me with open arms. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with all of you and getting to know your students throughout the school year!

Below is a list of some of the awesome benefit our program offer:
