Communication Application (Period 5-7)
Course Description
Students will learn the basic elements of verbal and nonverbal communication.
Students will prepare and present five speeches during the semester. The speeches include: Autobiographical, Informative, Demonstration(How- To), Persuasive,and Commercial(Persuasive).
Students' major grades are derived from chapter tests and presentations of speeches. Their daily grades are based on in-class assignments, vocabulary, and discussion questions in the textbook.
