What is Career and Technical Education?
Career and technical education programs (CTE) offer courses that provide students with coherent and rigorous content. CTE content is aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in current or emerging professions. West Orange-Cove Consolidated school district offers CTE courses in Education and Training, Cosmetology, Information Technology, Architecture and Construction, Health Science, AV Tech and Communication, Manufacturing, Business Marketing and Finance, and Transportation and Logistics. Lamar State College Orange has partnered with WOCCISD to provide dual credit for college hours in multiple areas of CTE. Please contact your counselors for more information.

Van Vleck ISD offers Career and Technology Education (vocational) programs in Agriculture and AgriBusiness Education, Business Education, and Diversified Career Preparation. Admission to these programs is based on enrollment in Van Vleck ISD, interest and aptitude, age appropriateness and class space available.
