Food Science (Period 6)

Students in this class will learn the fundamentals of why food behaves the way it does; from why yeast makes dough stretch AND rise to how our bodies break down the components of food. We also work extensively with food safety and sanitation issues. This course IS a lab science and students may take it in order to complete their fourth required science course.
