Meet WOSH Site Coordinator
Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. My name is Mik Koats. I am excited to be the Communities in School (CIS) Site Coordinator for West Orange- Stark High School.
As a Site Coordinator, my primary responsibility is to assist in improving students’ behavior, attendance, academics, and social/emotional well-being.
It is important that I work closely as a team with parents/guardians, teachers, administration, and staff to ensure students are receiving all the support they need to guide them through their years of being high school students. I will also assist students in need of school supplies or any personal hygiene items. These items will be in my office, in room 300.
Throughout the year, I will be meeting with students in the classroom, individually and in groups. If you know of any students who can benefit from this program, please let me know and I will send a parent consent form electronically or give out a hardcopy.
Once again, thank you for welcoming me. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with all of you and getting to know your students throughout the school year!
