Principal's Corner

As the Principal of West Orange Stark High School, I am both excited and honored to become the leader of WOSHS. I am humbled by a shared purpose which has guided my own leadership: a relentless commitment to putting children at the center of our work in education.

My career has brought me through a variety of Texas school districts. In that time, I have learned that our purpose as educators is to address gaps in students' learning, support challenges that are beyond their control, and motivate them to aspire to greatness. WOSHS mission aligns with my core belief for all students to have a quality education that effectively meets their emotional and academic needs.

I am truly honored to be given this opportunity and look forward to immersing myself completely in our school. I believe my main responsibility is to put our teachers in the best possible position to succeed, as they will in turn put our children in the best possible position to succeed. We will continue to review and develop the educational program so that it continues to raise the bar for students, academically challenging and engaging each student by linking what they're learning in school to knowledge and experiences that matter most to them. Together, we can ensure that we are all learning and growing for our number one priority: Doing what is best for OUR students!

I vow to give my all to our students’ experience, and I will request the same efforts from our staff. Together we will continue to move WOSHS and its students through a positive present and toward a strong future.
