Counselors' Mission Statement

   As school counselors, we aim to provide a comprehensive PK-12 developmental counseling program that will assist all students in acquiring the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to become effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers, and lifelong learners.  Our comprehensive program is integral to the district's overall educational process.  The program addresses all students' academic, career, and personal/social development. 

 

Roles of the Professional School Counselor

     1.  Encourage and empower students to make productive and successful decisions.

      2.  Advocate for each student.

      3.  Promote every student's goal for success.

      4.  Collaborate with all stakeholders to bring people together for the common goal of all students.
