Life Skills

My name is Cathey Celestine and I am the Life Skills Teacher at the West Orange Cove High School. I am a graduate of Westlake High School and a proud graduate of Lamar University Beaumont, TX.  I now hold an EC-12 Teacher’s Certification, BAAS Degree, and a Master’s in Technology Degree.  I have served in the district for 18 years working with students with Autism, Blindness, Emotional Disturbance, Hearing Impairment, Intellectual Disability, Multiple Disability, Speech Impairment, Traumatic Brain Injury, Visual Impairment, and Other Health Impairments. The goal of the Life Skills Class is to assist all students in attaining the highest academic and functional level the student is capable of within a given year.
